The open edge chassis has 5 servers, each server having a single next generation Intel Xeon processor. Open edge server also includes HW acceleration capabilities for Cloud RAN, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence and content acceleration. As the open edge server is based on OCP design principles, it provides superior serviceability. Features like seismic tolerance (NEBS) provide worldwide deployment robustness.
