The OCP Data Center Facility Project completed the development of the OCP Colocation Facility Guidelines and Checklist with collaboration by the OCP community. The Guidelines assist a Colocation Facility Provider in understanding the unique requirements of Open Compute Racks, Power, and Hardware. The Checklist allows the Provider to assess their facility/facilities compliance to the Acceptable and Optimum requirements.     The OCP Foundation developed the requirements and process for a Colocation Facility Provider to become a listed Solution Provider on the OCP Marketplace. The Facility Provider must perform an assessment of their facility using the available Scorecard, which is to be presented and reviewed by the Data Center Facility Project Community and the Incubation Committee. The Facility Provider must also meet all requirements set forth by the OCP Foundation.    The Beta Release was provided to two Facility Providers with locations in the EMEA region. The EMEA region has been identified as a primary region for OCP technology growth and identifying Colocation Facility Providers as a key driver in facilitating the use of OCP Hardware by promoting qualified data center white space for deployments. This presentation will cover feedback offered by the Facility Providers which participated in the Beta Program and the integration into the General Availability Program.
